Me, Leah, and Lacha planted ourselves just off the lake at the Fullerton and Lake Shore Drive. We sat on the Banig...see, the Philippines is good for something (http://www.tribo.org/textiles/banig.html). This was a last minute idea, so we packed a few things from Eatzi's, some popcorn from Chicago Popcorn Works, German beer (no not PBR in a beer stein), and a bottle of red. Like I mentioned, we didn't really plan ahead. I mean, we almost wasted our time with sitting at Ceasar's on Oakdale and Broadway. I digress. So I realized I forgot my wine opener 3 blocks from home...3 blocks i was unwilling to backtrack. Morgan at Eatzi's was nice enough to uncork the bottle and place it directly in a wine doggie bag...I didn't have to pretend to drink the wine in the dining area. My apologies for coping an attitude initially. This is what warrented a text message to those few lucky friends out there: "Shark penis soup make you a better lova!" I think this came from the conversation we had about the female shark that appears to have self-impregnated.
